The enrolment of out-of-zone students is governed by the provisions of the Education Act 1989.  The enrolment scheme, which includes a precise description of the home zone, may be viewed on our school website: www.hint.school.nz.

The Heretaunga Intermediate Board of Trustees invites applications from whanau who wish to enrol their tamariki at Heretaunga Intermediate School for 2021.

Enrolment at the school is governed by an enrolment scheme, details of which are available on our school website.

Enrolment packs may be collected from the school office at the bottom of this page.

It is greatly appreciated if the parents of students who live within the home zone present enrolment forms by Friday 25 September, accompanied with proof of

residence. This assists the school to plan appropriately for next year.

The deadline for receipt of applications for out-of-zone places is Wednesday 2 September.

The board has determined that approximately forty places are likely to be available for out-of-zone students next year. The exact number of places will depend on the number of applications received from students who live within the school’s home zone.

If the number of out-of-zone applications exceeds the number of places available, students will be selected by ballot. If a ballot is required it will be held on Friday 4 September. Parents will be informed of the outcome of the ballot within three school days of the ballot being held.
