Enrolment Forms

The Heretaunga Intermediate Board of Trustees invites applications from whanau who wish to enrol their tamariki at Heretaunga Intermediate School for 2021.

Enrolment at the school is governed by an enrolment scheme, details of which are available on our school website.

Enrolment packs may be collected from the school office or from the bottom of this page.

Our online enrolment form for 2022 is live. Please go to our website and click ‘enrolments’ to find the hyperlink for ease of access, or type into your browser https://enrol.etap.co.nz. Our school code is 2575. Please follow the prompts on the form to complete your enrolment. Futher instructions are located at the bottom of this text.

It is greatly appreciated if the parents of students who live within the home zone present enrolment forms by Friday 1 October, accompanied with proof of residence. This assists the school to plan appropriately for next year.

The deadline for receipt of applications for out-of-zone places is Wednesday 1 September.

The board has determined that approximately twenty places are likely to be available for out-of-zone students next year. The exact number of places will depend on the number of applications received from students who live within the school’s home zone.

If the number of out-of-zone applications exceeds the number of places available, students will be selected by ballot. If a ballot is required it will be held on Monday 6 September. Parents will be informed of the outcome of the ballot within three school days of the ballot being held.

To enrol your student either download the enrolment form and digital citizenship agreement and send these in, or call our school office and make a time that suits you to come in and fill them out – we look forward to meeting you.

You can chose to download an enrolment form to print off and fill out, or fill it out online. PLEASE NOTE: if you fill out the enrolment form online you are to:

  1. Provide us with a copy of your child's immunisation form

  2. Provide proof address if you are in-zone (power bill, bank statement, tenancy agreement).

  3. Agree to all aspects contained in the form, including contributing to the costs and donations associated with the school.

  4. Have your child agree to meeting all school expectations regarding uniform and behaviour.

You also need to fill out our Digital Citizenship User Agreement Form and return this to school. This can not be filled out online. Download it from the link below.

You can use the online enrolment process as well.

Online Enrolment Steps:

Step 1: Click this link https://enrol.etap.co.nz. It will take you to the log on portal.

Step 2: Enter the school code - 2575.

Step 3: “Email Address”- enter your own email address.

Step 4: Click “Log On”.

Step 5: Click “Enrol New Pupil” and fill out the fields.

Step 6: Click “Set Password” - this is in bold located at the bottom of the screen.

You do not have a current password so leave the first field labelled “Current Password” blank.

Step 7: “New Password”- enter in this field a password that you have created.

Step 8: “Re-Enter Password”- enter the password you have just created in Step 7.

Step 9: Click “Set Password”.

You are now ready to fill out the enrolment form.

Remember to attach the following documents and other supporting documents at the relevant stages throughout the form:

  • Birth Certificate

  • Proof of Address

  • Immunisations

  • etc.
