DEPUTY PRINCIPAL TERM 2 2026

Thank you for showing an interest in the Deputy Principal position at Heretaunga Intermediate School. This position offers an opportunity to join our school at an exciting time as we embed our vision, Proudly Heretaunga!

We have recently undertaken a strategic review of our leadership needs. As a result, we are looking for a specific type of leader: a "working Deputy Principal" who combines high-level organisational skills with a strong, visible presence in the school.

This role is critical to the smooth running of our school. It combines the strategic leadership of Learning Support (SENCO) and Data Analysis, with the operational leadership of School Systems and Behaviour Management.
